Hi! nice to see a Max/MSP/Jitter discussion board.
I'm an Italian Sound Engineer, i've been teaching analog and digital sysnthesis @ SAE college for some years and programmed a lot of plugins and stand-alone apps in my site called GLEETCHPLUG.
Max world is vast and everyday there is a lot to learn even for expert users.
My biggest interest in max environment is generative and glitch music, as well as realtime video processing.
i hope to find interesting and sparkling discussions here, share ideas and tips
Well that's all for now.. cheers :)

Re: Hi folks!
Sat, April 16, 2005 - 2:33 AMIt is allways surprising to me to see how many people like the small things I've done :) I do thank you very much for your comment on GLEETCHPLUG.
By the way GLEETCHPLUG it's only me...not a team of programmers..
Well, I've got a new site: www.gleetchplug.com, I'll be no longer hosted in ienproject, so update your bookmarks :) (please tell your friends)
regarding [theLAB] software I can say this:
I'm rewriting some of the features wich didn't satisfacted me 100%..
I hope (this time is true) to release it on gleetchplug.com within a month.
Regarding other new gleetchplug software a generative soundscape/music player is coming. This product is intended for listeners rather than musicians, nevertheless is a wonderfull tool for relaxation even for musicians :P
Basically think of a typical new-age ambient CD, the software, rather than reproducing mechanically a musical / tonal structure over and over..allways the same, it plays the music in realtime.
Allways changing a bit here and there, the same whay you could expect from a band that plays live some jazz music. The timbral, rythmic and tonal structures change slightly everytime you press the play button. This way you have 2 advantages.
First you can listen to music how much time you like, much more that 60 minutes for instance..
Second, it does not bore you as a CD could do..
Thanks very much indeed again for your kind answer and support :) stay tuned, new toys are coming... YAY -

Re: Hi folks!
Sat, April 16, 2005 - 4:58 AMjust few lines to add to my previous reply.
I'll be hosting on my site some music (or noise) made with my LAB software from users, so as soon as you will have it, I'll be glad to host mp3s.
A musical project will be created and shared freely on my site.
Tell your friends ;)
